A Traveling Touch, Inc. is a full service massage therapy company specializing in on-site chair massage, for almost any business and situation.
A Traveling Touch, Inc. was founded in 2006 by Allison Grothaus, LCMT. After 20 years in the Hospitality Industry from Chef (graduate of Johnson & Wales University Culinary Arts) to Upper Management, Allison has experienced first hand the results of stress & physical strain on the body.
A graduate from Chicago School of Massage Therapy 720 hour program and Certification with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), Allison has focused her practice on workplace repetitive strain injuries and implementing proper body mechanic programs in the workplace. Allison is proud to be a Professional Member of American Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). She has also taken extensive continuing education for myofascial release, ethics, and optimal body mechanics.
When asked why she choose this path with massage Grothaus responds, “ With Workers Comp claims and absenteeism at an all time high in the corporate setting, I saw a need to creating a healthy work environment for employees that would not only benefit the staff, but also benefit the overall health care cost & productivity to the employer.”

A Traveling Touch, Inc. prides itself in its staff of therapists whom Grothaus has trained and selected personally. “All of our staff are Certified, have a valid and in good standing State Massage Therapist License, and are members of the ABMP.” “I am dedicated to quality & consistency in every service we offer and expect no less from all my staff.”
